Calvert Sporting are able to organise and arrange the best in luxury shooting, fishing and hunting trips. Based on our years of experience and meticulous planning this will ensure a fully memorable experience.
Permits and Insurance
For those visiting from abroad, the team can apply for the relevant UK Permits and insurance. This task can be at best, time consuming and at worst totally confusing – why not let us handle this for you.
Gun & Equipment Transport & Storage
We can arrange for guns to be transported in and out of the UK and clear customs as required ready for your shooting.
At our gunroom, we can store not only your shotguns but also your shooting clothing and outdoor gear in an allocated locker space. A personalised digital itinerary of all your items will be provided and clothing can be dried and laundered as necessary.
Once you have your day’s shooting arranged, one of the Calvert Sporting team can deliver your items to the shoot lodge or your chosen accommodation in preparation for the day.
Cartridge Supply & Advice
Cartridges are supplied at competitive rates and a member of the team can advise on what is most suitable for your quarry and the time of year.

UK Hunting Trips: What Should I Expect?
If you would like advice and assistance in booking your game day, please contact us in the first instance.
Once your day’s shooting is booked our team can assist with all the arrangements for yourself and your team. To include booking accommodation, transfers, air charters, customs clearance at airports through to delivery of your guns and kit to your accommodation. If you have booked a driver/loader or instructor to assist you, they will be on site to offer any further help required.
At the end of your shoot day, a member of the team can drop you back to your airport/train station and return the guns and shooting kit to your home or our gunroom if the items are to stay in storage.
This really is a very bespoke service and we will always try to help where we can – please do ask! A full quotation for services can be provided upon request.
Shooting Concierge FAQ
Yes, we will be very happy to make these arrangements with you, we would require a copy of your Shot Gun Certificate or UK Visitor Permit showing authority to possess the shotguns.
Yes, we work alongside many top hotels and private houses and can provide recommendations and book where necessary.
If your partner/children do not wish to join the shoot party during the day, alternative activities can be sourced and booked, location permitting.
Yes, we will happily take your luggage, guns and cartridges to the shoot for you.
Yes, the team are able to apply for the necessary permits to allow you to shoot legally in the UK.
